Andrea Petkovic has advanced to the second round of the WTA-Tournament in Linz. The 23-year-old took away an undisputed 6:3; 6:4-victory against compatriot Angelique Kerber (WTA 58). In the next round Andrea faces Anne Keothavong (GBR).

Andrea Petkovic failed to reach the round of sixteen at the WTA-Tournament in Beijing. The German Fed-Cup-Player lost 4:6; 1:6 to Vera Zvonareva of Russia in the second round.

Andrea Petkovic has cruised into the second round of the WTA-Tournament in Beijing. The world’s number 35 had no troubles defeating Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic (WTA 30) 6:2; 6:3.
In the second round the best-ranked German female tennis player faces the winner of the Russian match Dinara Safina between second-seeded Vera Zvonareva. Just a few weeks ago Andrea lost 1:6; 2:6 to Zvonareva at the round of sixteen at the US Open and will seeks for revenge in case they compete against each other.

Andrea Petkovic has dropped out of the WTA-Tournament in Tokyo. Like last year she lost to Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland in the round of last sixteen. This time the result was 3:6; 3:6.
