Andrea Petkovic has missed to reach the third round of the WTA-Tournament in Tokyo. Petko lost 6:7 (4), 3:6 to Simona Halep (ROU | WTA 18) in the second round. In the first round she beat Elena Vesnina (RUS | WTA 24) 4:6; 7:6 (5); 6:4 in a hard-fought match, which lasted nearly three hours.
