Andrea Petkovic has reached the quarterfinals of the WTA-Tournament in Carlsbad. Andrea led 6-2 and 3-0 when opponent Virginie Razzano (FRA | WTA 73) had to retire due to an injury. In the quarterfinals Andrea will face Sloane Stepehens (USA | WTA 131) who defeated Andrea's fellow Fed Cup teammate Julia Görges in the second round.
